About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Visual Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Poundland. As a key member of our Visual Merchandising team, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining visually appealing store displays that drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

Reporting to the Visual Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing planograms across our retail estate, ensuring that our stores are consistently presented in a way that reflects our brand values and resonates with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain planograms that meet commercial objectives and drive sales growth
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team, Retail, and Commercial teams to ensure consistency and alignment across the business
  • Conduct store visits and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Work closely with the Buying team to ensure that ranges are built to agreed objectives and that planograms are operationally viable for stores to follow
  • Interpret data to inform decision-making and drive business growth

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of the retail industry
  • Experience of space management systems, such as SPACEMAN or JDA, is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in a Visual Merchandising role, either in-store or at head office
