About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused individual to join our team as a Regional Cancer Pathway Navigator. This exciting new position will play a crucial role in supporting patients through their treatment journey, ensuring they receive the right care in the right place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support patients through their treatment journey, coordinating care across different services and trusts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including multidisciplinary teams and clinical nurse specialists.
  • Collaborate with service line management teams to establish and develop the role, bringing optimal benefits to patients and services.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the region, including tertiary, secondary, and primary care settings.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level, working towards a degree or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience of working in the NHS, with a strong understanding of cancer targets and patient pathways.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of health professionals.
  • Strong numerical and statistical skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results.
