Exciting Opportunity for a Skilled CNC Programmer

Groomfield Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly experienced CNC Programmer to join their team in Coventry. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines and Kuka Robots to meet daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate CNC machines and Kuka Robots
  • Ensure daily production targets are met
  • Implement Lean Management, support 5 S, and TPMs
  • Adjust machine settings to optimise production while maintaining quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine/robot issues as they arise
  • Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and TPMs
  • Train new employees on CNC machine/robot operation
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and design models

Requirements:

  • Experience and good working knowledge of Power Mill
  • Experience with Openmind Hypermill Software
  • Knowledge of composites and their manufacturing processes
  • Basic knowledge of race cars and road cars
  • Minimum of 2 years working within the F1/Motorsport/Automotive industry
  • Proficiency with Fanuc 3 & 5 axis control systems
  • Experience with 3-axis Fusion 360 CAM software
  • Proficiency with Power Mill CAM software
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Health & Safety awareness

Package:
