About the Role

The Hepatitis C Trust is seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Peer Lead for the West Yorkshire ODN Network. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of our peer support projects, working closely with our clinical teams, drug and alcohol services, and homeless service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and coordinate peers across identified areas of the West Yorkshire ODN network
  • Work in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams to deliver educational workshops and hepatitis C testing in community settings
  • Ensure service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care
  • Coordinate delivery of educational workshops and community outreach initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including service providers and community groups

Requirements

  • Experience of working in drug services and with volunteers
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Good standard of education
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
