Business Development Executive

Apache Associates is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our team in Harrogate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new clients for our IT support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to sign IT support contracts.
  • Generate leads through business networking, cold calling, and other strategies.
  • Meet potential clients in person or via Teams to understand their IT requirements and propose tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Communicate effectively to gather insights about client grievances and shortfalls.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to create comprehensive proposals for potential clients.
  • Present proposals to clients, highlighting how our services can meet their needs and improve their IT infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities for additional sales, including equipment (desktops, laptops), labour-intensive projects, and services such as Microsoft 365.
  • Ensure ongoing sales opportunities from existing signed clients by being their first port of call for technical queries.
  • Work with the team to develop our IT support contract offerings and identify new product opportunities.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in our service delivery and product offerings.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years experience of working in a Business Development environment.
  • Ability to travel to client sites.
  • Live within a commutable distance to the Harrogate or Leeds area to facilitate office visits and client meetings.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
