About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Development Manager to join our team at Methodist Homes. As a key member of our community services team, you will be responsible for developing and managing our community schemes to meet the needs of older people within the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community schemes to promote the wellbeing of older people across a range of community settings.
  • Line manage additional staff appointments to the scheme, as required.
  • Recruit, select, and support volunteers to ensure the successful operation of the scheme.
  • Work closely with local stakeholders to ensure the scheme meets the needs of the community.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in community development and management.
  • Strong business and operational skills, with the ability to drive high-quality services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
