We are seeking a Technical Product Owner/Senior Business Analyst for a full-time position to join our skilled team and gain hands-on experience with pioneering innovations focused on the future of digital finance. The ideal candidate will learn from a team that has successfully launched groundbreaking services to millions of users.

4R Digital serves as a technical services partner for Cavex Limited, a digital platform for voluntary carbon markets poised to revolutionize the carbon market sector. We aim to expand our team to support Cavex's operations and other exciting greenfield projects that have a significant impact. Position Overview

In this role, you will collaborate with an experienced group of Product Managers and Product Owners, gaining practical experience in assisting the team as they strategize and execute 4R Digital's product and technology roadmap.

As a Product Owner, you will aid the product team in defining and drafting business and functional user stories, prioritizing them effectively. You will also engage in daily team activities, participating in scrum ceremonies and focusing on understanding customer and stakeholder interests.

Your contributions will directly influence product planning sessions. Over time, you will also play a role in project strategies, their successful execution, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in the complete product development lifecycle, from concept mapping and requirements planning to detailed backlog creation and review, with guidance from the Product Director.
  • Draft clear and measurable requirements that can be independently verified through features and user stories, refining them through team discussions.
  • Once the requirements baseline is established, maintain and verify specifications accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with organizational management to identify customer needs and determine how to meet those needs effectively.
  • Represent stakeholder interests to the team, ensuring that business value and user needs are clearly communicated.
  • Carefully evaluate the business implications of various development options considered by the team.

Job Specifics

  • Analyze business challenges with a structured decision-making approach, guided by feedback from senior leadership.
  • Document and analyze functional and non-functional specifications, coordinating requirements for review and approval as part of project scope and planning.
  • Draft clear requirements through Epics, features, and user stories, defining achievable and measurable acceptance criteria for technical teams.
  • Assist in creating use cases, functional specifications, diagrams, and technical documentation as needed to articulate requirements.
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies with the team, utilizing Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the team to clarify business requirements and functional use cases, representing stakeholders within the squad.
  • Conduct testing of features and user stories upon completion by the team to ensure acceptance criteria are met, logging bugs and change requests as necessary.
  • Be accessible and approachable to the development team for discussions and clarifications regarding requirements and solution options.
  • Support lead product teams and senior stakeholders at 4R Digital in prioritizing and defining the product roadmap and milestones.
  • Facilitate product walkthroughs and system demonstrations with external stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Prepare and lead interviews and workshops with various client stakeholders, synthesizing key insights.
  • Produce written documentation to support your work, reporting findings, and presenting to stakeholders and peers as needed.
  • Conduct data and scenario analysis, identifying gaps and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Propose innovative approaches to collaborating with partners and project-level stakeholders, including end users of the technologies we develop.
  • Plan and coordinate user testing, issue capture, and resolution.
  • Support multiple projects and business units while adhering to tight deadlines.
