Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&E Post Completion Specialist to join our team at Bouygues Construction. As a key member of our Post Completion Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve defects reported by clients, including reviewing project archives and conducting site inspections and surveys.
  • Contribute to the company's Getting It Right First Time approach by identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Review and accept documentation for transfer to the Post Completion Department, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Undertake detailed As-Built design reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure pre-handover meetings are scheduled and that all necessary documentation is submitted.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of production teams and subcontractors, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage contractual issues and warranty management during the Defects Liability Period (DLP) and Liability Defects Period (LDP).
  • Investigate the cause and remedy of defects reported on Clixifix or other official notices, and implement corrective actions to prevent future defects.
  • Procure and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Manage health and safety on site, reviewing RAMS and identifying additional support needs for high-risk activities.
  • Prepare purchase orders, work orders, and associated documentation with the PCD Quantity Surveyor.
  • Monitor and report on the work programme status, cost of works, and performance of subcontractors.
  • Manage quality on all PCD works undertaken, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Provide feedback to the Quality and Production Departments to prevent future defects.
  • Compile final accounts for all subcontract works.
  • Issue quality alerts and bulletins on issues investigated, including cause, correction, and lessons learned.
