Post-Completion MEP Specialist

Bouygues Construction has a great opportunity for an experienced MEP Engineer or Senior MEP Engineer to join our post-completion team in London. In this role, you will cover a number of projects and will require you to travel to sites around London, including locations outside of the M25 boundary.
You will be part of a specialist skills team focusing on M&E aspects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing issues raised by clients, investigating and challenging where necessary, and liaising with multiple parties, including sourcing new contractors, tendering, managing Health and Safety, and managing multiple trades on site.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Identify and investigate reported defects to determine if they are a result of construction or design.
- Work alongside production teams to develop a complete understanding of original design intent, procurement, and delivery of all necessary rectification activities from design to completion.
- Review and acceptance of documentation to be transferred to the Post Completion Department.
- Undertake detailed As-Built design reviews.
- Ensure pre-handover meetings are scheduled with site teams and they are aware of the importance of the documentation that is to be submitted.
- Review the performance of Production Teams and Sub-Contractors.
- Manage contractual issues and Warranty Management during DLP/LDP.
- Investigate the cause and remedy of defects reported on Clixifix or other official notices.
- Procure and manage Sub-Contractors.
- Manage Health & Safety on site, reviewing RAMS and identifying if additional support for High-Risk Activities is required.
- Prepare purchase orders, work orders, and associated documentation with the PCD Quantity Surveyor.
- Monitor and report on the work programme status, cost of works, and performance of subcontractors.
- Manage quality on all PCD works undertaken.
- Feedback to Quality and Production Departments to prevent future defects.
- Compile Final Accounts for all Sub-Contract Works.
- Issue Quality Alerts and Bulletins on issues investigated, including cause, correction, and lessons learnt.
