**Job Summary**
Selwood Limited is seeking a reliable and physically fit Yardsperson / Labourer to support the operations of our busy Chandler's Ford branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with various duties in the yard, including loading and unloading of vehicles, maintaining a clean and tidy workspace, and providing excellent customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles, checking against paperwork, and reporting any missing, damaged, or fuel charges.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including the yard and workshops.
- Assist fitting staff with tasks as instructed, including lifting and moving equipment.
- Clean hire equipment prior to entry to the workshop, using pressure/steam-cleaning equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service, being polite and cooperative with staff and customers.
- Communicate accurately with supervisors, work colleagues, and customers regarding job specifications, ETA's, and missing/damaged items.
- Comply with all PPE requirements and site regulations.
**Requirements**
- Forklift Licence.
- Previous work history within a similar environment.
- Good communication skills and a can-do attitude.
- Reliability is essential for this position.
- Physically fit due to the nature of the work.
