We are looking for a Governance Lawyer to support our Legal Services team in providing high-quality legal advice and guidance to the council. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of governance law and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical context.

The role will involve working closely with our Assistant Directors in legal services and governance to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure the council's compliance with laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
