We are collaborating with a leading Fintech organization known for its innovative approach to financial services.

Founded with the vision of making financial tools accessible to everyone, this company is committed to enhancing the user experience through cutting-edge technology.

Currently, we are in search of a proficient 1st/2nd Line Technical Support Engineer to become a vital part of their enthusiastic team on a contractual basis.

In this position, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding technical assistance and ensuring the effective functioning of IT systems.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Support: Provide first-line technical assistance to users through various channels, ensuring high-quality service and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Issue Diagnosis: Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software challenges, escalating complex cases to higher support tiers as needed.
  • Ticket Management: Accurately log all support inquiries and incidents in the helpdesk system, maintaining thorough documentation and timely updates.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Address common technical issues related to operating systems, network connectivity, and application software, adhering to established procedures.
  • User Assistance: Guide users in the setup and configuration of IT devices, software installations, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • System Oversight: Regularly monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a technical support capacity, ideally within the fintech sector or a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with fintech industry standards, regulations, and prevalent technologies in financial services.
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of network protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with common office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and specialized fintech applications.
