Social Housing Repairs Operations Manager

We are excited to collaborate with a prominent Social Housing organization seeking to fill the position of Repairs Service Manager on a permanent basis.
This role is a full-time opportunity with hybrid working arrangements (2/3 days working from home) and offers a competitive salary of £42,275.
The successful candidate will possess significant experience in managing responsive repairs, supervising subcontractors, and overseeing financial aspects. We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds, provided they demonstrate strong IT proficiency and a genuine interest in the Housing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing repairs to ensure the execution of scheduled works within residential Social Housing properties.
- Gathering and interpreting data using Power BI, and presenting clear insights to senior management regarding team performance and financial expenditures.
- Monitoring subcontractor performance and conducting site inspections/audits to guarantee compliance with established specifications.
- Ensuring all works adhere to pre-defined financial limits.
- Communicating with relevant stakeholders about upcoming and ongoing projects.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in the Social Housing sector.
- Experience in customer engagement within housing environments.
- Background in responsive repairs management.
- Experience in budget oversight.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Understanding of building maintenance with experience in operational team leadership.
- Experience within the Social Housing field.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
