About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at SLR Consulting. As a key member of our Civil & Structural Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing projects, advising clients on engineering projects, and providing technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee projects from feasibility through design, tender, and construction phases to final handover.
  • Advise clients on engineering projects, including power, general infrastructure, and waste management facilities.
  • Provide technical expertise in engineering design, programme management, and engineering contracts.
  • Supervise and mentor engineering staff, and liaise with other professionals in UK offices.
  • Assist in seeking opportunities through coordinated business development to expand civil & structural engineering services and capabilities.

About You

We are looking for a strong team player with good communication, organisation, and numerical skills. You should have demonstrable experience working in a comparable role on civil engineering projects, preferably within consultancy, and a good knowledge of relevant UK legislation and standards associated with Civil & Structural Engineering.
