About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at SLR. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and providing assistance on a diverse range of engineering projects across various sectors, including power, infrastructure, and built environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and provide assistance on engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor engineering staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Liaise with other professionals, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective project coordination.
  • Assist in the tender process, preparing and submitting bids for new projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure successful project outcomes.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering, programme management, and engineering contracts. You should have a good understanding of relevant UK legislation and standards associated with civil and structural engineering.

You will be a strong team player with excellent communication, organisation, and numerical skills. A flexible approach to changing priorities and an ability to work accurately under pressure are essential.
