Join Our Team as a Network Service Technician

We are thrilled to present an opportunity to become part of our dedicated team at Thames Water as a Network Service Technician. This role is dynamic and customer-oriented, where your primary responsibility will be to address network issues, ensuring a seamless supply for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of customer inquiries, providing timely resolutions at their residences or workplaces.
  • Work collaboratively with contractors on both scheduled and emergency tasks, investigating clean water systems to rectify performance issues such as pressure inconsistencies, leaks, and supply interruptions.
  • Assist in managing burst mains by ensuring proper isolation for planned maintenance and urgent repairs.
  • Conduct valve operations, water sampling, and checks, as well as planning related activities.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, covering essential and standby hours throughout the day.
  • Drive between job sites, necessitating a valid UK driving licence.

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service.

  • Strong time management skills.
  • A solution-oriented approach.
  • Basic knowledge of domestic plumbing or water systems is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.

  • A valid UK driving licence is essential.
