Job Title: Distribution Operative

Severn Trent is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Distribution Service Delivery Team as a Distribution Operative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our Underground Water network, ensuring the delivery of clean water to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain our Underground Water network, including the upkeep of our Clean Water Network and repair of Clean Water Main Assets.
  • Conduct excavation work on Severn Trent sites and private lands, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services.
  • Liaise with other departments and contract partners to resolve customer issues and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Utilize up-to-date technology to support back-office data upkeep and contribute to the development of our operations.
Requirements:
  • A full UK driving license is required for independent travel to depots and bases.
  • Experience of working safely and operating compliantly is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a caring attitude are necessary to represent Severn Trent in our communities.
