About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team at Bendalls Engineering. As a Radiographer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our welded products using advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiography (x-ray / gamma) and interpret results to identify discontinuities or defects within welds.
  • Address technical issues that may arise and ensure quality control measures are in place.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced quality inspectors to support quality control initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively through written reports and verbal interactions to document findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in in-house and external training programs to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • NVQ in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • PCN Level 2 minimum in Radiography / interpretation
  • Prior exposure to heavy metal fabrication processes
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team structure
  • Security Clearance (we can complete these checks)
