Position Summary

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Property and Private Client Legal Assistant at Lynwood Solicitors. The successful candidate will engage in the preparation of legal documents, maintain communication with clients, conduct thorough research, review documents, and support property and private client transactions. Collaboration with the legal team will be essential to facilitate seamless transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiating client files and providing estimates
  • Drafting essential legal documents, such as contracts, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, leases, and transfer deeds
  • Conducting comprehensive property searches and investigations
  • Coordinating with clients and third parties to ensure efficient transaction processes
  • Overseeing key dates, deadlines, and file organization
  • Offering administrative support, including file organization, correspondence preparation, and appointment scheduling
  • Assisting in the creation of completion statements and invoices

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience as a Paralegal in a conveyancing or private client setting
  • Proficiency in legal software and case management systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Proactive approach with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • A professional demeanor with a client-centric focus
  • Possession of a Law Degree or LPC
