Job Title: Hardware Electronics Test Engineer

Contract Duration: 7-8 Months

Location: UK (Hybrid Working)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for hardware testing, producing test reports and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain and develop automation test tools to improve overall test efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Support the Design and Development teams with product testing and evaluation, and recommend further investigation if required.
  • Create and develop test plans for new technologies and new products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Required Experience:

  • An engineering mindset and eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Experience using electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and spectrum analysers.
  • A background in electronics and a strong understanding of electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as EMC, Radio, and Safety.
  • Experience in using test and validation methodology and scripts to test hardware and/or systems/platforms.
  • An understanding of how to sort and present test data to illustrate the outcome of testing.
  • A valid UK driver's license and own car to commute to off-site test houses.
  • Experience in working with developers to design test cases for new products/technology (desirable).
  • Experience in summarizing technical information with varying levels of detail, depending on the audience (desirable).
  • Some experience in managing a test workstack (desirable).
