Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for hardware testing, producing detailed test reports.
  • Maintain and develop automation test tools to improve overall test efficiency.
  • Support the Design and Development teams with product testing and evaluation, recommending further investigation if required.
  • Create and develop test plans for new technologies and new products.

Requirements:

  • An engineering mindset and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Experience using electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, spectrum analysers.
  • A background in electronics.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as EMC, Radio, Safety.
  • Experience in using test and validation methodology and scripts to test hardware and/or systems/platforms.
  • An understanding of how to sort and present test data to illustrate the outcome of testing.
  • A UK driver's license and own car to commute to off-site test houses.
  • Experience in working with developers to design test cases for new products/technology (non-essential).
  • Experience in summarising technical information with varying levels of detail, depending on the audience (non-essential).
  • Some experience in managing a test workstack (non-essential).
