Over time, you will strategize outreach efforts and advise prospects on the optimal implementation of our solutions. In this role, you will maintain a positive demeanor and demonstrate initiative by:
- Working alongside your manager and team to enhance customer and industry knowledge
- Utilizing digital platforms to uncover business prospects
- Creating innovative strategies for identifying potential clients
- Collaborating with existing customers to explore and identify enhanced solutions
- Contributing to and sharing process enhancements
The Trainee Role
As a Sales Development Trainee, you will dedicate 20% of your time to studying for your apprenticeship while applying your learnings in the field 80% of the time, supporting the sales and marketing organization.
Throughout this experience, you will become part of a broad marketing community across Europe and various business teams. You will also have access to a network of individuals who will support your personal and professional development.
Your first year will primarily focus on familiarizing yourself with the company and acquiring the necessary skills for the role. You will gradually transition into the Business Development Associate position while continuing your sales apprenticeship.
Some of the first-year activities you will engage in include:
- Understanding your customer portfolio and confidently discussing it
- Gaining a comprehensive view of how large, matrixed organizations operate
- Assisting fellow Business Developers by generating investigative reports
- Conducting research into new business opportunities
- Acquiring industry knowledge to formulate insights for customers
- Learning and developing skills to build and maintain customer relationships
Additionally, you will have the chance to enhance your experience and contribute directly to the Marketing function through activities such as:
- Conducting customer and competitor analysis
- Assisting with new product launches and trials
- Supporting the creation of social media content aligned with current objectives
- Contributing to the development of marketing materials, both print and digital
- Organizing customer events and exhibitions
- Reviewing the monthly marketing budget against the plan
- Collaborating with sales and clinical teams to meet customer expectations
- Assisting the Marketing lead with portfolio lifecycle management, including phasing in innovations and phasing out outdated products
- Preparing for and supporting both internal sales and external customer meetings
- Spending time in the field visiting customers to understand market needs and competitor solutions

Eligibility
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom and have been a resident in the UK/EU for at least 3 years
- GCSEs or equivalent with Mathematics and English at grade 5 and above (A-C/4-9)
- A valid driving license with no more than 6 points
- Willingness to travel, including some overnight stays
