Job Description

Ecolab is a global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions and services. We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our Sales and Marketing team as a Sales Marketing Development Apprentice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with future customers and work with the team to identify and engage with new opportunities for Ecolab to create long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the sales and clinical team to support customer expectations and develop innovative solutions.
  • Support the Marketing lead with portfolio life cycle management, phasing in innovation and phasing out old products.
  • Conduct research into new business opportunities and gain industry knowledge to develop a point of view for customers.
Requirements
  • Curiosity and drive to search for information, summarise it, and share findings.
  • Collaborates well as part of a team to solve problems in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to develop interpersonal relationships and displays initiative, self-motivation, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Takes ownership in growing your career and has a passion for sales.
  • Computer literate and willing to travel with some overnight stays.

  • Competitive salary starting at £22,000 up to £28,000 dependent on experience.

Eligibility
  • Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom and been a resident in the UK/EU for at least 3 years.
  • GCSEs or equivalent with Math's and English at grade 5 and above (A-C/4-9).
  • Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
