We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of UX/UI to lead our user experience and interface design efforts. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), this role will be responsible for defining and implementing a user-centric design strategy, creating intuitive and visually compelling interfaces, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences across our products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of a comprehensive UX/UI design strategy, incorporating user research, industry best practices, and business goals to drive the evolution of our product user experiences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications, incorporating user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, define product requirements, and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing design solutions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions, iteratively refining and improving our products based on user feedback and behavior.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of design systems, pattern libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across our products and platforms.
- Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption to enhance our design capabilities and deliver innovative user experiences.
- Define and implement design processes and methodologies, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality in all aspects of the design lifecycle, from ideation to implementation.
- Collaborate with external agencies, contractors, and partners as needed to augment design resources and capabilities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and quality standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster a collaborative and high-performing design culture.
We are looking for a creative and experienced Head of UX/UI who has a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, including web and mobile applications. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking methodologies, and usability best practices, with a focus on delivering intuitive and delightful user experiences.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong background in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts, present ideas, and advocate for user needs to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
