At Liberty Charge Ltd., we're on a mission to create a sustainable and accessible electric vehicle charging network. We're seeking an experienced Head of User Experience to lead our UX/UI design efforts and drive the evolution of our product user experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their UX/UI design skills, with a focus on delivering intuitive and delightful user experiences. They will be responsible for defining a user-centric design strategy, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our products and platforms meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of a comprehensive UX/UI design strategy, incorporating user research, industry best practices, and business goals.
  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications, incorporating user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborating closely with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, define product requirements, and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing design solutions.
  • Conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions, iteratively refining and improving our products based on user feedback and behavior.
  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of design systems, pattern libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across our products and platforms.

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong passion for sustainability, clean energy, and environmental stewardship, who is committed to delivering innovative user experiences that make a positive impact. The successful candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, including web and mobile applications.
  • A deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking methodologies, and usability best practices.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar, with the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts, present ideas, and advocate for user needs to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
