Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated ward administration assistant to become a vital part of our team within the maternity assessment unit. This area serves as a crucial entry point for expectant mothers and those in the early stages of postnatal care.

Key Responsibilities

Role Overview

The successful applicant will be tasked with the daily management of Careflow and will have access to the K2 maternity system. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to both the medical and midwifery teams, as well as covering reception duties. The role requires a proactive individual who can work independently while adhering to management directives and maintaining high standards in their work. Given the sensitive nature of the position, it is essential to uphold patient confidentiality and interact professionally with both staff and the public.

All tasks must be executed in compliance with Trust Policies and Procedures, particularly regarding patient confidentiality and Health & Safety regulations.
