About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team at SI Group. As a key member of our Regulatory Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our company complies with national and international regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainability standards and develop actionable regulatory strategies.
  • Support the Regulatory Compliance team in ensuring compliance with national and international regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and drive regulatory processes and procedures, ensuring all procedures are thoroughly documented.
  • Proactively acquire knowledge and participate in relevant projects to advance regulatory and sustainability initiatives.
  • Travel within the region for training and site visits as required (infrequently).
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs and sustainability, with a focus on product carbon footprint calculation.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and database software.
  • Proven ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
  • Broad knowledge of global chemical regulations and the ability to interpret complex government regulations and programs.
  • Understanding of product carbon footprint calculation, leveraging the "Together for Sustainability" standard.
  • Experience working with purchasing teams on scope 3 data collection and integrating it into PCF calculations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under limited supervision.
  • Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
