Job Title - Residential Children's Worker

Location: Shropshire

Salary: £12.55-£13.55 per hour, £60 per sleep in

Hours: Full time, part time and weekend only

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for children and young people in the home, promoting their independence and wellbeing
  • Deal with challenging behaviors when needed
  • Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare
  • Maintain a safe environment for young people
  • Engage, communicate and listen to the children and their needs
  • Work proactively to provide essential care and nurturing to the children
  • Maintain professional boundaries and remain person-centered at all times
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months UK experience working with children and young people
  • Full driving license with access to your own vehicle
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Full employment history with any gaps explained
