The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, attending multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, and supporting our Acute Oncology Service.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert medical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Attend MDT meetings to discuss patient cases and develop treatment plans
- Support the Acute Oncology Service in providing care to patients with acute oncology needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- MRCP or equivalent specialist qualification
- CCT or equivalent specialist training
- Higher degree or equivalent (e.g., MD, PhD)
