We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Staffing Coordinator on a full-time, fixed-term basis. As a key member of our operational team, you will provide support with rota planning, locum usage, annual, study, and sick leave for the medical workforce, reporting to the Assistant Service Manager for the division.

The role requires excellent attention to detail, communication skills, a strong focus on engagement with staff at all levels, and the ability to use your initiative and manage your workload in order to combat rapidly changing priorities. You will also provide our junior doctors with local support and serve as a central point of contact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operational management of the medical staffing function within the medical division, ensuring the production and collation of weekly and on-call rotas for all medical specialties in liaison with the Assistant Service Managers.
  • Main point of contact for all medical staffing enquiries in the Division, including leave, sickness, and HR issues.
