Job Title: SENCO with TLR

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join our primary school in Kidderminster. As a SENCO, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching responsibilities within the SEND Hub, focusing on SEMH needs
  • SENCO duties, including paperwork and individual education plans
  • Work within the school's SEND Hub, supporting up to 8 children with SEMH needs at a time
  • Collaborate closely with 2 Teaching Assistants to ensure each child receives the best care and support
  • Provide leadership and guidance on all SEND-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • NASENCo qualification
  • Previous experience as a SENCO or within SEND is essential
  • A passion for working with children with SEMH
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage both teaching and SENCO responsibilities
  • Ability to work closely with a team and engage effectively with children, parents, and external agencies
