Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to join our team at Social Care & Education Jobs Ltd. This role is essential in providing support to children and young individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and disabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive rate of £78 per hour with an annual salary ranging from £21,000 to £22,900. The role is structured for 40 hours per week and is term-time only.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A full UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle is desirable.
  • Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths and English at Level 2/C or above.
  • Progress towards Level 2 or higher in Support Work in Schools or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge in working with students who have SEN or SEMH/ASD.
Role Responsibilities
