We are seeking a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist to work on an Adult Acute ward.

About the Hospital:

The hospital is a 28-bed rapid response, male acute inpatient service.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

About the Role:

The Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team, providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and treatment of adult patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of healthcare professionals in the assessment and treatment of adult patients
  2. Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the management of complex mental health cases
  3. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families
  4. Contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Strong clinical leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies
