About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our West Sussex Care Delivery Service. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to adults of working age from East Grinstead and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with other services in the local area, including the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team, the Liaison team, and acute in-patient services.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines, ensuring best practice is maintained.
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement programmes, driving continuous improvement in patient care.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist who is included on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months, and has approved clinician status or is able to achieve this within three months of appointment. You will have excellent knowledge in the specialty and have actively participated in clinical audit and quality improvement programmes.
