Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that exceeds our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our clients.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food to ensure exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food service operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage kitchen supplies to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu concepts and improve existing ones.
  • Represent Compass Group UK in a professional and positive manner, and maintain a strong brand image.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, and a Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A flexible approach to working, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
