What does the role entail?

NICE Actimize is on the lookout for a seasoned Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to become a vital part of our product team. This position will primarily focus on our Onboarding and KYC solutions, with the potential to expand into areas such as AML, Anti-Fraud, Market Surveillance, and other NICE Actimize offerings. This position encompasses both Manual and Automated testing, covering traditional On-prem and Cloud deployments, necessitating a deep understanding of both to guarantee the quality and efficiency of our solutions. You will take charge of defining, executing, and automating test plans for web applications and APIs, utilizing your expertise to develop robust and effective testing strategies.

How will you contribute?

  • Thoroughly reviewing requirements and stories to engage in grooming, sprint planning, and evaluate testing efforts.
  • Collaborating closely with developers to ensure comprehensive tests are in place for each feature or function, along with exploratory testing for undefined scenarios.
  • Executing hands-on testing and automating test cases for functional regression testing.
  • Contributing to product design to enhance testability and robustness of features.
  • Partnering with PM and Developers to ensure high-quality releases for production.
  • Defining and refining QA processes and best practices.
  • Implementing innovative testing concepts to boost test coverage and improve quality and reliability.
  • Exhibiting strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot application and environment issues.
  • Collaborating within multi-disciplinary Agile teams, embracing Agile delivery methodologies.

Do you have the qualifications?

  • 6-9 years of experience in Manual and Automation testing, with a minimum of 4 years in QA Automation or API testing.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Test Strategy and Test Plan artifacts suitable for Agile development.
  • Familiarity with .Net applications and C#.
  • Experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) framework design and development for QA automation, such as Specflow.
  • Proficiency with API automation tools like SOAP UI/Postman is essential.
  • Understanding of basic database concepts and the ability to extract data from relational databases like MSSQL/PostGre.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and defect management using tools like QC and JIRA.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC phases and Testing Life Cycle.
  • Experience in creating and executing detailed Test Suites/Test Cases.
  • Self-motivated and quick learner with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a friendly demeanor; effective as a team player.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Additional advantages include:

  • Knowledge or experience in non-functional performance testing.
  • Experience with private and public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Familiarity with Actimize solutions or compliance products like Onboarding and Client Lifecycle.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, and Docker.
  • Experience in testing with Rules Engines and Workflow Engines.
  • A degree-level education will be considered an advantage.
