Job Title: Care AssistantJob Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Assistant to join our team in the S21 area, which includes Eckington, Killamarsh, and Renishaw. As a Care Assistant, you will provide care and support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care that respects individuals' dignity
  • Promote independence using enabling approaches
  • Support individuals to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals
  • Connect individuals to their communities, accessing local support and services
  • Deliver personalized care through individual choice and control
  • Communicate effectively, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time
Requirements
  • Patience, empathy, and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and build relationships with individuals and families
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a car (for drivers)

Working Hours

As a Care Assistant, you will work aligned to our shift patterns, which include late shift working and alternate weekends. Early shifts are from 7:00am to 3:00pm, and late shifts are from 3:00pm to 10:00pm (finish time depends on public transport times).
