About the Role

VIVID Housing is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standard of our communal grounds areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out grass/hedge cutting, border maintenance, and weeding to ensure our grounds areas are attractive and well-maintained.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, machines, and materials to perform daily tasks.
  • Work at heights, manual handling, and lifting heavy and bulky items.
  • Have a high degree of mobility, including walking, lifting, loading, and unloading vehicles.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge and experience in grounds maintenance and horticulture.
  • A full, clean current driving license (held for at least 1 year) to drive one of our vans when necessary.
  • Satisfactory driving license checks and DBS check.
