Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and flexible individual to join our Estates team at South Hampshire College. As a Facilities Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing an effective facilities and maintenance service across our sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide building and site operations across mechanical and electrical systems and plant rooms.
- Support with Emergency Services, including evacuations, lock downs, and first aid.
- Complete grounds maintenance duties.
- Manual handling of college equipment and deliveries.
- Provide site security.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to deal with challenging situations.
- IT skills - MS Office and Outlook.
- General DIY skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in numeracy and literacy skills.
- Current driving license at Cat B and Cat D.
- MIDAS trained (preferable but can be provided).
