We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at Reed. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with experience in the construction industry to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth of our company.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the financial operations and planning of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory regulations.
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out, and develop financial management mechanisms to minimize financial risk.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities, and manage and lead the budgeting process to ensure effective financial planning.
- Work with senior teams to grow the business, formulating strategies and plans to drive financial performance and achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations, and develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, such as auditors, solicitors, and bankers.
- Produce accurate financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff, recommending further courses of action as needed.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification, with proficiency in financial management software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
