We are currently seeking a highly skilled Process Development Chemist to join our team at Rowland Talent Solutions Limited.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the development and scale-up of fine chemicals, working closely with our Research, Production, and Quality Control teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing small-scale process development experiments to optimize chemical synthesis.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale up laboratory processes to production levels.
  • Ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate for research, development, and scale-up projects.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Providing technical expertise to support the development of new products and processes.

Requirements for the role include:

A degree or Master's degree in Chemistry, with a strong background in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.

Previous experience in a chemistry lab, with a focus on distillation and process development.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Key skills and qualifications include:

Strong knowledge of Organic Chemistry and Synthetic methods.

Experience with HPLC and other analytical techniques.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
