The student will have the opportunity to work across the two sites, gaining exposure to state-of-the-art synthetic chemistry research, high-throughput experimentation, computational design, and medicinal chemistry.
To be successful, applicants must have a strong background in organic chemistry and a Master's degree in a relevant subject. Practical experience in synthetic organic chemistry is highly desirable. The University actively supports equality, diversity, and inclusion and encourages applications from all sections of society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in synthetic organic chemistry and chemical biology
- Develop novel catalyst activation modes and methods for molecular architecture assembly
- Assess representative libraries in preliminary biological screens
- Collaborate with researchers across the two sites
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant subject
