Evoralis is a pioneering biotech company on a mission to revolutionize the textile industry by making it truly circular. We're seeking a highly skilled Research Chemist, Chemical to join our team and contribute to the development of enzymes that break down mixed and blended textile fibres into their constituent building blocks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and conduct experimental work in enzymatic plastic depolymerization
  • Generate and characterize suitable plastic substrates for enzymatic biodegradation
  • Monitor and quantify plastic monomer generation
  • Scale-up enzymatic plastic depolymerization
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry with focus on Macromolecular Chemistry, Material Sciences, or related field
  • Knowledge of organic chemistry and the structure, composition, and properties of materials, with a strong emphasis on polymers
