About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and inspirational School Head Chef to join our team at Olsen House school. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for transforming our school lunch provision to provide fresh, healthy, and nutritious food for our children, staff, and the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a food-led curriculum to educate children about healthy eating and nutrition
  • Train and upskill a small team of kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
  • Work effectively to a budget to ensure efficient food production and minimize waste
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate food education into the curriculum
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
