About the Role

A leading provider of affordable housing across the social housing sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior Citrix Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the Technology Department, you will be responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Citrix VDI Infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the Citrix VDI Infrastructure and services, ensuring effective service delivery and assessing client needs.
  • Collaborate with various teams to support and improve Citrix infrastructure operations, including Architecture, Service Delivery, and Service Desk Teams.
  • Manage the Citrix Work Plan and continuous service improvement initiatives, upholding security and governance within the Citrix environment.
  • Liaise with third parties and vendors for service management, contributing to project delivery and operational change through change requests.
  • Maintain Citrix monitoring and reporting systems, ensuring complex multi-site Citrix infrastructure operations are managed efficiently.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, Active Directory, Group Policies, Citrix Profile Management, Provisioning Services, NetScaler, VMware ESX, and networking.
  • Expertise in applications packaging, databases, storage, networking, and security, with proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Proven track record of managing complex multi-site Citrix infrastructure operations, with experience in ITIL environments and processes, preferably using ServiceNow.
  • Recent Citrix certifications to Professional level are desirable, as well as strong project management and delivery skills.
