Job Opportunity: Health and Social Care Tutor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Social Care Tutor to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. As a Health and Social Care Tutor, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Health & Social Care education by delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment within our program area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver BTEC Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications to students, ensuring they meet the required standards and achieve their full potential.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment within the program area, maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
  • Learner Support: Manage learner journeys, support Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) arrangements, and meet performance targets, ensuring students receive the best possible support.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with awarding organizations and lead on External Verification (EV) and Standard Visit (SV) visits, maintaining the integrity of our programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential Qualifications: Level 3 in Health & Social Care, and 1-2 years of experience in the care industry.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Level 3 in teacher training or assessor qualification.
