Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the execution and rollout of programming tailored to the Red River Métis community;
- Possess knowledge of Métis heritage, Michif dialect, and experiential learning approaches;
- Support the enrollment process for children and manage fee collection;
- Foster the professional development of team members and assist in performance assessments;
- Guide the team in facilitating the growth and development of children;
- Design and oversee activities across various educational domains;
- Ensure the upkeep of program resources and facility organization;
- Engage in the preparation and oversight of the annual budget;
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Child Development or ECE III Certification;
- At least three years of experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting;
- Familiarity with Fastoche and Circle of Security methodologies;
- Current First Aid and CPR C certification;
- Successful completion of Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record checks with Vulnerable Sector verification;
- Understanding of Red River Métis traditions, IWS, and MMF initiatives;
- Willingness to travel and possess access to reliable transportation.
