An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Selby Community Response Team for an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic, patient-focused rehabilitation service.
Main Responsibilities- Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse or complex/multi-pathology presentations, including specialist functional assessments of cognitive, perceptual, sensory, and motor skills.
- Formulate and deliver individualized, goal-oriented treatment programs based on sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options.
- Ensure a holistic approach to patient care and rehabilitation within the intermediate care and fast response service.
- Organize and prioritize caseloads to meet service and patient priorities, adjusting plans as situations change.
- Identify work-related risks to staff and patients, informing senior staff as necessary.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team supporting people in their own homes. The service runs 7 days a week, 8am-8pm, and also supports Urgent Crisis Response within 2 hours.
Requirements- HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant junior role, including the management of a range of conditions, with evidence of additional knowledge acquired through formal and informal clinical supervision.
- Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team, present information clearly, and organize and prioritize tasks.
