Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and patient-focused rehabilitation service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing holistic assessments, specialist occupational therapy treatment, and management of patients in their own homes.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse or complex presentations
- Formulating and delivering individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice and treatment options
- Ensuring a holistic approach to patient care and rehabilitation
- Organizing and prioritizing caseloads to meet service and patient priorities
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, supporting individuals in their own homes. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physios, and generic support workers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant junior role, with evidence of additional knowledge acquired through formal and informal clinical supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
