Job Title: Global Distribution Director

Mercury Hampton is seeking a highly experienced Global Distribution Director to lead our company's distribution network and drive revenue growth through our distributor sales channel.

About the Role

We are looking for a senior leader with a proven track record of developing and managing global distribution networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing our current distribution setup, making our partners accountable, and managing them to ensure they meet their performance targets.

The role will also involve working closely with our global sales team to enhance distribution performance, appointing new distributors, and managing and updating distribution agreements with key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a growth strategy for our distributor sales channel
  • Manage and update distribution agreements with KPIs
  • Appoint new distributors and manage existing ones
  • Work closely with the global sales team to enhance distribution performance
  • Develop and manage the internal sales and customer service teams
  • Ensure all service levels are met and performance is managed
  • Pricing and margin policies
  • Support and train/coach distributors
  • Global Key Account Management
  • Assist with big ticket Business Development projects
  • Market intel and Product Development
  • Attend global exhibitions
  • Develop the CRM system
  • Involvement in Marketing and PR
  • Process improvement and business metrics
About You

We are looking for an inspirational leader with a track record of developing teams both internal and external. You will have extensive global distribution leadership experience, ideally in the oil and gas market. You will be familiar with mechanical engineering products and have a solid technical and industrial background.

You will have outstanding commercial track record, be able to collaborate, make decisions, and accurately forecast. You will be extremely driven and persuasive, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
